Team Selection Policy (updated on December 31, 2007) †

This year no qualification is held. League chairs have the full right to select participating teams. The following is the current policy of team selection:

• Domestic teams
  • All pre-registrered teams are accepted to participate in the competition.
• Overseas teams
  • The number of overseas teams is five at the maximum.
  • The selection of at most five overseas teams is left up to league chairs.
  • Please refer to the page of RoboCup Japanese National Committee Official Page( http://www.robocup.or.jp/2008JP_OPEN_1_eng.html ).

Remote-participation to Soccer Simulation League of Japan Open 2008 is NOT permitted!

Every team that wants to participate in RoboCup Japan Open 2008 must pre-register by 12:00 (noon) January 31, 2008 (JST). Those teams that do not pre-register by the deadline may not be allowed to participate in the competition (e.g., due to the limitation of the number of teams). Please note that we do not allow remote participation in any case.
